Petra electric steering column issue
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Fiat Petra owner experienced an issue with the electric steering column adjustment, which stopped working suddenly and displayed an error. Thanks for the quick response! To answer your question, there weren't really any signs. It just stopped working abruptly. Did yours completely fail as well? What did you end up doing about it?

Okay, mine also failed suddenly from one moment to the next, as far as I can remember. I haven't checked the cable connections myself, I am not really an expert. I just brought it to the workshop. I think it’s the best solution in this case.

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate you sharing your experience. I'll take it to a workshop as well. In the end, it was indeed the cable! Cost me 95€ including taxes and labor! All works well again.

Hey, I also have a Petra, though I don't know the year of build right now. I think I remember reading about this issue somewhere, maybe even experienced something similar a while back. Was the adjustment not working at all all of a sudden, or were there any signs?
