Peugeot 1007 air suspension fault
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Peugeot 1007 diesel is experiencing a significant air suspension fault, causing the car to not lift and lean heavily to one side, accompanied by an error message and a bumpy ride. The issue is suspected to be related to the air suspension bellows valve. A similar case was resolved by addressing the bellows valve, but it is advised to have the vehicle checked by a workshop to confirm the exact cause and solution.

Thanks for the reply! I haven't heard any hissing, but it's hard to tell with the engine noise. When yours went, was it definitely the bellows valve, or something else in the air suspension system? Trying to get an idea of what I'm facing before I take it in.

For me, it turned out to be the bellows valve, as suspected. Best to get it checked out by a workshop though. I'm not saying it's definitely that, but the symptoms are pointing towards that direction. I ended up with a bill of 590€ for parts and labor.

Okay, thanks for the info! Sounds like I'm heading to the workshop then. At least I have an idea of what to expect. I appreciate you sharing your experience!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my 1007. Leaning, bumpy ride, the whole shebang. Was like driving a tractor. Have you checked for any hissing sounds, like an air leak? Could be a simple puncture in the air line, or worse, the air spring itself.
