Peugeot 1007 brake booster pressure sensor issue

The brake pedal does feel a bit hard sometimes, now that you mention it, and other times it seems like I need to press it way further than usual to get the same stopping power. Could it really be connected to a bad brake bleeding job then? What exactly did you experience when yours went wrong?

Yeah, the hard pedal and weak stopping power rings a bell... It sounds pretty similar! I wouldn't mess with it. It's probably best to get it checked out by a workshop. If its the sensor like mine was, it's vehicle safety we are talking about...

Thanks a lot for your input! It's reassuring to know someone else had the same issue. I took it to the workshop, and they confirmed it was the brake booster pressure sensor, likely caused by incorrect bleeding at some point as I suspected. 90€ later, it's fixed! You were a great help!

I had something similar happen on my 1007! The pressure sensor went bonkers. Does the brake pedal feel kinda hard or spongy? I never thought about bleeding, but I'm keen to hear more if you've discovered a possible bleeding issue!
