Peugeot 1007 Defrost Air Distribution Flap Issue

Hey, I'm freaking out. My 2008 Peugeot 1007, gasoline engine, is acting up. The error memory says something about the defrost air distribution flap, and the heater is blowing lukewarm air. I've checked the fuses. The car has 163122 km on it. I read it could be a dodgy cable or plug connection. Anyone else had this?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my old Opel Corsa – the air distribution was completely messed up. Is the blower motor working alright? If it is, it could be a problem with the flap motor itself, or a connection issue. Check the heater core too. Is it getting hot?

The blower seems to be working on all speeds. How would I check the heater core, and how did you fix the Corsa?

Good to know the blower is fine. For the Corsa, it was a faulty connection to the flap motor. I didn't fix it myself, took it to a workshop. They diagnosed it quickly. I'd suggest you do the same. It's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to heating systems.

Cheers. I appreciate the advice! Gonna take it to the shop. They quoted me about 95€ for the diagnosis and repair, so hopefully, it's just a loose wire or something.
