Peugeot 1007 electric seat issue
Summary of the thread
The passenger electric seat in a 2006 Peugeot 1007 diesel was not working, with an error stored and inability to adjust the seat. A weak battery was suspected as a potential cause. Thanks! The battery was significantly discharged, but not completely flat. Can you give me more detail about the specific wires or connections that were problematic in your case with the seat harness?

Okay, with the battery being weak, that's probably your main culprit! The harness is just a pain to get to, really. For me, it was a broken wire right where it connects to the seat motor. But honestly, without proper tools and knowledge you can make things worse. I just bit the bullet and took it to a workshop.

Thanks for the advice. I've decided to get professional help. They replaced some damaged wiring. Cost 290€.

Hey, I had something similar happen with my 1007! Was the battery totally flat, or just struggling? I’d check the seat harness under the seat – those wires are super fragile and can easily get snagged or broken. Give them a wiggle and see if anything happens. Also, check the fuses!
