Peugeot 1007 Fault Code and Control Module Configuration
Summary of the thread
A 2008 Peugeot 1007 owner is experiencing recurring fault codes, with error messages appearing in both the infotainment system and speedometer. The diagnostic scanner indicates a vague issue related to the control module's configuration. Another owner with a similar problem found that the root cause was incorrect vehicle coding, which was resolved by re-coding the ECU at a workshop. This solution is suggested as a potential fix for the issue.

Thanks for the quick reply! The diagnostic scanner showed a fault related to the control module's configuration. It's a bit vague, not pointing to a specific sensor or component. Did your error code point to anything specific?

My error code was similar, nothing that gave a direct root cause. In the end I had to go to the workshop. They told me that the root cause was an incorrect coding of the vehicle.

Thanks a lot for the info! That confirms my suspicion. I'll book it in at the workshop. They re-coded the ECU and that seems to have solved it. Cost me 360€, but at least the errors are gone!

I had something alike with my 1007. Was it a pain! Which error code did the diagnostic scanner show?
