Hi, thanks for your reply! It's always helpful to hear that others have had similar experiences. It really sounds like the problem with your Peugeot 307 was exactly the same as mine. I'm curious, can you remember how much the repair cost you? I'm curious to know what to expect. Have you not had any more problems since the repair or has something else come up? Thanks for the information! LG

Hey, of course, I still remember it well! The fun cost me a total of €95. It wasn't exactly a bargain, but at least everything ran like clockwork again afterwards. The mechanic did a really good job with the intake manifold pressure sensor. So since then, no malfunction of the intake manifold pressure sensor and no other problems, everything runs perfectly. Hope that brightens your mood a little! All the best and let me know how it goes! Regards

Hey, that's really encouraging to hear! 95 is actually reasonable. If my Peugeot runs smoothly afterwards, it's definitely worth it. It's great that your mechanic was able to fix the intake manifold pressure sensor well. It sounds like he's really competent. I hope my mechanic can do the same. I will definitely let you know how it goes! Thanks again for your help and the information! All the best and see you then! LG

Hi, had a similar problem with my 2008 Peugeot 307. It turned out that the intake manifold pressure sensor wiring harness was open or shorted. This caused the check engine light to come on and the engine to run erratically, just as you described. It was quite a complex problem as the sensor is quite difficult to access and the whole wiring harness had to be replaced. But luckily it wasn't really serious. After the repair, my Peugeot ran as before. So, don't worry, it's a bit of work, but it can definitely be fixed. Good luck, hope this helps! Cheers!
