Thanks for the quick reply. The dashboard light is normal. The starter motor doesn't engage when it won't start. Could this be car electronics?

That's what I experienced. The car electronics are likely the problem. If the starter isn't engaging, and you've checked the battery, it's probably the ignition switch or related wiring. Check the fuses yourself, but a workshop visit is probably best.

Thanks for the confirmation and advice. A faulty fuse was the issue, costing 52€ to replace. I appreciate the help fixing this.

Sounds familiar. I also drive a 1007. Had something similar not long ago. Any warning lights on? Does the starter sound normal when you turn the key, or weak, or does it not engage?
