Peugeot 1007 Terminal 15 Ignition Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Peugeot 1007 diesel faced an ignition issue, with an error indicating an interruption at Terminal 15, preventing the engine from starting. Initial checks of fuses were inconclusive, leading to suspicions of a faulty cable or plug. Suggestions included checking connections around the ignition switch and the starter solenoid. Ultimately, a workshop identified a corroded relay switch causing a voltage drop, which was repaired, resolving the issue.

Thanks for the ideas! I wiggled the wires near the ignition, but no luck. I don't know the starter solenoid, or how to check it. Can you explain?

Okay. If wiggling didn't work, and you're not comfortable with the starter solenoid, I'd say get it to a workshop. Terminal 15 issues can be a headache, and chasing bad connections without the right tools can waste time. Plus, you don't want to fry anything!

I appreciate your advice. You were right, this was beyond me. The workshop found a corroded relay switch, causing a voltage drop. Repair cost 95€, and the car starts now.

Hey! Sounds like a pain. Terminal 15... hmm. That's your ignition positive. Since the fuses are okay, it probably is a dodgy connection. First, have you tried wiggling the wires around the ignition switch while starting? Also, check the starter solenoid. Sometimes those get corroded. Any clicking when you turn the key?
