Thanks! Cable and plug connections to the mount - where exactly are those located? How would I check them? I'm guessing they're near the engine, but a bit more detail would be awesome.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I appreciate it! I'll take it to the workshop as you've suggested. Turns out it was a defective engine mount, and they replaced it. The bill was around 95€ - not too bad!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my 1007. Error code and rough idling... Could be a failed motor mount. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the mount? Sometimes a loose or corroded connection can cause those symptoms.
