Thanks! I checked the fuses, and they seem fine. Can you tell me where the door loom is exactly and how to check it for damage?

Right, if the fuses are okay, then yeah, the door loom is the wiring that runs between the car's body and the door. It's usually covered in a rubber boot. Peel that back carefully and inspect the wires inside for breaks or fraying. Honestly, though, if you're not confident with electrics, it might be worth getting a mechanic to take a look. It can be a pain to fix properly. I gave up and took mine to the workshop.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I'll get a technician to look at it. I'll let you know what the solution is. The estimated cost was 95€.

I had a similar problem with my old Vauxhall Corsa. The central locking packed in completely. Check the fuses first – sounds obvious, but it's often overlooked. After that, it could be a broken wire in the door loom where it flexes every time you open and close the door. Have you checked those?
