Peugeot 106 Central Locking Failure

Got a weird one with my 2001 Peugeot 106 Electric. The central locking has completely gone kaput. Neither the key fob nor the internal switch will lock or unlock the doors. I've checked the fuses and they seem fine. I suspect it might be a faulty door contact signal, possibly a dodgy cable or plug connection. Anyone experienced similar gremlins?

I had a similar issue with my 106. Does the car alarm still work?

Good shout! No, the alarm isn't working either. Thinking about it, it stopped working around the same time as the central locking. Does that point to the door switch, wiring harness or electrical issue?

Affirmative. In my case, the issue was indeed related to the door wiring. I recommend a visit to a workshop.

Thanks for the confirmation. Took it to a local garage, and as you suspected, it was a defective cable connection in the door wiring harness. 95€ later and it's all sorted. Cheers!
