Peugeot 106 diesel reset quantity drift compensation error

My 2002 Peugeot 106 diesel is throwing me for a loop. I'm getting rough engine running, the check engine light, and a stored error related to 'reset quantity drift compensation' at 51760 km. Suspect a defective injection valve/injector. Anyone seen this before?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I've got a 106 diesel too. What airflow readings are you getting? It's possible it could be related. I'm no mechanic, but I had weird engine behaviour and after swapping sensors it was okay, maybe that will help.

Interesting. You had the 'reset quantity drift compensation' error as well, and replacing airflow sensors fixed it? I'm showing values within the expected range, but I haven't done a live data stream recording yet while the error is active. Could you give details on which airflow sensor did you change?

Okay, so I just checked my records. It wasn't EXACTLY the same error, but the symptoms were almost identical. So maybe I'm wrong. As for airflow sensor I think it was just the standard one near the air filter box. If I were you I'd take it straight to a decent workshop.

Roger that, thanks for the insights! Ended up being a defective injector, after all. Cost me 515€ to replace it. Appreciate the input!
