Peugeot 106 seat heater problem
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Peugeot 106 has a seat heater issue where it doesn't warm up, and an error is stored in the memory. Possible causes include blown fuses, faulty wiring under the seat, or a defective seat heating mat. Checking the fuses and wiring for breaks or loose connections is suggested, but the problem is likely with the heating mat itself. A workshop confirmed the issue as a defective seat heating mat.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't checked the fuses or wiring yet. Where exactly are the fuses located, and what should I look for when checking the wiring?

In my Astra, the fuses for the seat heating were in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Check the wiring under the seat for breaks or loose connections. However, given the symptoms and the error message, it is probably the heating mat itself. I would recommend visiting a workshop to be sure.

Okay, thanks for the help. I took it to the workshop, and they confirmed it's the seat heating mat. Repair will cost around 390€. Appreciate your advice!

Hello. I had a similar problem with my Opel Astra. The seat heating also remained cold, and the error memory indicated a defect. Have you already checked the fuses or the wiring under the seat? It could also be a defective seat heating mat.
