No other malfunctions are apparent, such as engine light illumination or brake issues. Could you please elaborate on the specific pairing procedure you followed that resolved your issue?

In my case, the pairing itself wasn't the problem. The error memory stored the 'incorrect pairing with the end device', but it turned out to be a software glitch when connecting a new type of smartphone. A workshop visit might be necessary to clear that and refresh the software; it shouldn't be too expensive.

Based on your experience, I visited a workshop. The error was due to a software glitch during smartphone pairing. The repair cost was 45€. The system has been refreshed and is now functioning correctly.

I also have a Peugeot 106. I experienced similar connectivity issues recently. Did you check the pairing procedure with your phone? The system can be quite particular. Also, are there any other malfunctions, such as engine light illumination or brake issues, showing up?
