Peugeot 106 smartphone connectivity issue

Experiencing function restrictions with my 2003 Peugeot 106 diesel. Only 21830 km. My smartphone cannot be connected, and an error is stored in the error memory. I have attempted basic troubleshooting, but the issue persists.

In my case, the pairing itself wasn't the problem. The error memory stored the 'incorrect pairing with the end device', but it turned out to be a software glitch when connecting a new type of smartphone. A workshop visit might be necessary to clear that and refresh the software; it shouldn't be too expensive.
