Peugeot 106 Solar Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Peugeot 106 owner is experiencing issues with a solar sensor error that affects the heater's performance. The problem is suspected to be due to a faulty cable connection. After consulting with others, it is suggested that the issue might be related to a connection under the dashboard near the windscreen. The owner eventually resolves the issue by having a local mechanic fix the dodgy connection.

Good shout! It's pretty consistent, comes back every time I clear it. Any idea where the sensor actually is? I'm guessing somewhere on the dash?

Yeah, sounds like it's permanently buggered then. On the Scenic it was a right pain to get to, under the dash near the windscreen. Honestly? For the sake of ease, and if the connections are okay, I'd just book it in. These small electrical gremlins can be a real time sink.

Cheers! Took it to a local guy, you were spot on. Dodgy connection, he sorted it for 95€. All good now!

Yo! I feel your pain. Had a similar temperature control issue with my old Renault Scenic. Different car, same headache. Is the error intermittent, or is it always showing?
