Peugeot 106 Temperature Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Peugeot 106 diesel is experiencing issues with the outside temperature sensor, leading to an error message, non-functional AC, easily freezing spray nozzles, and non-working mirror heating. The suspected causes include a faulty cable or plug. It is suggested to check the sensor's power supply with a multimeter and inspect the fuses. However, due to potential complications, taking the car to a workshop for professional diagnosis and repair is recommended.

Thanks for the quick reply! I checked the fuses and they look okay, but I didn't use a multimeter. Where should I check for power?

I'm not sure about the exact connection points. I messed things up even more when I tried fixing it myself, so I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. They should find the problem fast.

Thanks for the advice. I was going to try fixing it myself, but you're right. I'll take it to a workshop. The final bill was 95€, which I think is fair.

I also have a Peugeot 106, not sure of the year. Your problem sounds like something I had last year. Did you check if the sensor is getting power with a multimeter? Or check the fuses?
