Interesting! You mean the actual connector where the bulb plugs in? I didn't check that closely. Is there a way to test it, or should I just try cleaning it? What happened with your Astra eventually?

Yep, the connector itself. It's like a tiny electrical handshake that isn't happening correctly! With my Astra, it turned out to be a slightly corroded pin in the connector. I tried cleaning it, but it was too far gone. Eventually, I had to take it to a workshop. They diagnosed it quickly and replaced the connector. Best bet is to take it to a workshop. It cost me around 80€ back then, and it fixed the problem immediately. You can probably solve it yourself, but sometimes it's faster to let experts do it.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I'll check the connector more closely. I appreciate the insight; it's good to know it might be a similar issue to what you experienced. I took it to the workshop and you were spot on, corroded connector. The total repair, including parts and labor, was 95€. Everything works perfectly again.

Hey! That sounds familiar! I had a similar gremlin with my old Opel Astra, although the specifics were a bit different. The error messages were driving me nuts! Did you check the connection to the bulb holder? Sometimes, the cable or plug connection can get corroded or loose, causing weird electrical issues. Think of it like a loose garden hose connection – the electricity can't flow properly!
