Thanks! No, I haven't checked the alternator output. I don't have the tools to measure voltage while the engine is running. And no, I haven't noticed strange noises. Where did you find the issue on yours? Was it the alternator itself, or something else?

In my case, it was a failing alternator. Given you can't test the output, I recommend professional diagnostics. Continuing to drive it like this may worsen the problem and damage other electrical parts.

Okay, I appreciate the advice! The mechanic confirmed it was the alternator. They replaced it, and the battery was too drained, so it needed replacing too. Total cost was 290€, but everything's running smoothly now. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I recall similar issues with my Peugeot 106. Did you assess the alternator's output? An underperforming alternator won't adequately charge the battery, leading to those symptoms. Any unusual noises from the alternator area?
