Peugeot 106 Water Sensor Fault

The sensor looks pretty easy to get to, near the fuel filter. But I don't want to mess with it too much without some advice. Did you fix the Opel yourself, or did you take it to a shop?

I tried fiddling with it myself, but eventually, I gave up and took it to a workshop. Turned out to be a faulty connection, just like you suspect. Saved myself a headache in the end.

Good to know. I'll probably take my Peugeot to a mechanic I trust. Hopefully, it won't cost too much. I got a preliminary quote of around 95€, which seems okay. Thanks for sharing your experience; it really helped.

Sounds familiar. I had almost the same problem with my old Opel Astra - the malfunction indicator was driving me nuts. Is the sensor easily accessible in your 106, or is it buried somewhere deep?
