Peugeot 107 ABS Problem

Hi, I'm having a strange issue with my 2008 Peugeot 107, it's got a gasoline engine. The ABS lamp keeps lighting up and I'm getting some traction problems. It feels like the ABS system is failing. I've only done 45683 km. Could it be the speed input? Anyone had this before?

I had similar issues with my 107, also the ABS and traction lights coming on. It sounds like a defective ABS control unit to me. Did you check the diagnostic for fault codes?

Thanks for the reply! Where is that control unit located? And how do I check the diagnostic for fault codes? Is that something I can do myself, or do I need special equipment?

I didn't locate the control unit myself. I would recommend that you go to a workshop for this, it can be the defective control unit.

Thanks for the advice, I took it to the workshop and you were spot on. They said the ABS control unit was faulty. Cost me 1000€ to get it replaced, but at least it's fixed. Appreciate the help!
