Peugeot 107 Audio System Failure

I had a similar problem with my Opel Astra, a 2012 model. The entire sound system went dead, no static noise, nothing. Any problems with dashboard controls, like illumination? Does the head unit show any signs of life at all?

The dashboard illumination seems normal. But the head unit display is completely dark; no signs of activity. I haven't noticed any static noise before the failure.

Okay, sounds very similar to my issue. In my case, the display itself was defective. I suspect that's the issue. I'd recommend visiting a workshop to have it diagnosed and repaired. They can probably confirm the error code. It cost me 725€ to get fixed.
