Peugeot 107 climate control issues

Hi, I've got a 2007 Peugeot 107 with a gasoline engine and the climate control panel has stopped working. I'm getting an error stored in the memory, the heating isn't putting out enough heat, and the AC won't switch on at all. I've checked the fuses and they seem ok. Any ideas?

Hey, that sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Peugeot 107. I'd suggest it could be a dodgy connection somewhere. These cars are notorious for electronic faults! Have you checked the blower motor resistor?

Blower motor resistor? Whereabouts is that located and what should I be looking for?

Yeah, the resistor controls the fan speed. It's usually near the blower motor itself, often behind the glove box. But honestly, if you're getting error codes and the heating and AC are both affected, it might be more than just that. Could be a wiring issue or even the climate control unit itself. Given the symptoms, it's probably best to get it checked by a workshop. I ended up paying 95€ for a cable replacement, according to the error log it was a defective cable or plug connection. That was a bit of a pain to diagnose myself.

Thanks for the advice! I'll take it to a workshop and get them to check the wiring and connections. Sounds like it's beyond my limited skills. I will let you know what they find.
