Peugeot 107 cooling issue

My 2012 Peugeot 107 (gasoline engine) with 28079 km sometimes displays incorrect temperatures, the check engine light is on, and the engine takes a long time to warm up. I suspect a restricted cooling grille. Could this be the cause? Is there a fuse linked to the cooling grille that could be defective?

I had a similar problem with my Peugeot 107, though I can't remember the exact year. Check if the cooling fan is running constantly, even when the engine is cold. That would suggest a faulty temperature sensor or a blockage somewhere in the cooling system, like you suspect.

How can I easily tell if the cooling fan is running all the time? Also, if there's a blockage in the cooling system, what's the best way to remove it?

It should be obvious if the fan is running all the time – you'll hear it. As for a blockage, honestly, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. It could be something simple, but it's better to be safe than sorry with engine cooling.

The issue was indeed a restricted cooling grille due to a defective fuse. The total repair cost was 52€. Thanks for the help.
