Peugeot 107 Engine Power Loss
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Peugeot 107 diesel experienced a noticeable reduction in engine power, with an error stored in the memory. A potential cause suggested was a defective main relay, which can lead to power loss and error storage. After checking, the main relay was identified as the issue, and replacing it resolved the problem, restoring the car's performance.

Thanks for the suggestion! Where exactly is the main relay located, and is it something I can check myself without special tools?

Regrettably, without diagnostic tools, I must concede that the precise location of the main relay within your Peugeot 107 is indeterminate. I would recommend the engagement of a qualified automotive technician to properly assess and rectify the prevailing anomaly. I ended up taking mine in.

Thanks for the tip! Turns out it was indeed the main relay. Workshop replaced it for 120€, and the car runs like new! Much appreciated!

I am writing in response to your query regarding the Peugeot 107. I, too, have encountered a similar predicament with my Peugeot 107. If you would permit me to inquire, have you inspected the main relay? A defective main relay can, in certain instances, precipitate a reduction in engine power concomitant with the storage of errors in the vehicle's error memory.
