Peugeot 107 fuel flap issue

A blown fuse? I hadn't considered that! But wouldn't a blown fuse usually affect more than just the fuel flap release? And if it were a fuse, wouldn't it be a simple matter of replacing it? How did you solve the problem with your Astra?

Yeah, you'd think a fuse would affect more, but sometimes it's weird. With the Astra, it ended up being the lock actuator itself. Basically, the little motor that pops the flap open died. I tried fiddling with it, but no luck. Ended up taking it to a workshop. They replaced the actuator, and all was good. Given the error code and the other issues, it might be worth getting it checked out. Chasing electrical faults can be a real pain.

Thanks for the insights! A trip to the workshop was in order. I looked at the lock actuator, and it was indeed the culprit. The repair cost me 210€, but at least the problem is solved! You were a great help!

I feel your pain. Something similar happened with my old Opel Astra, though it was older than your 107. Same symptoms – fuel flap wouldn't open, error message popping up. Did you check the fuse box? Sometimes it's just a blown fuse.
