Thanks! It's good to know someone else has seen something similar. I haven't been able to pinpoint the control unit's location. I've run diagnostics, but the error codes are generic. Could you elaborate on the sensor location that caused problems for your Clio? Maybe that will help.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact sensor location. I recall the mechanic saying it was related to the transmission control. Given your symptoms and the error codes, I'd recommend a trusted mechanic with Peugeot experience ASAP. It sounds complex, and they'll have the right equipment.

Thanks for your insights and recommendations. I appreciate you sharing your Renault Clio experience. Based on your advice, I consulted a qualified technician. You were right about a defective control unit. It cost about 1000€ to repair. Thanks again!

That sounds rough! I had a similar issue with my 2016 Renault Clio a couple of years back. The gear indicator went haywire, and the transmission started acting up. I drive a petrol, but my mechanic said it was a faulty sensor. Any luck pinpointing the control unit's location?
