Peugeot 107 power loss
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Peugeot 107 diesel is experiencing a loss of engine power and an illuminated check engine light. The issue could be related to a defective throttle valve, a malfunctioning accelerator pedal module, or internal electronics. A delay in throttle response suggests a potential throttle sensor problem. It is recommended to have a workshop inspect the throttle valve, sensor, and related components for obstructions or carbon buildup.

I haven't checked the throttle body for obstructions or carbon deposits yet, but there is a response delay. Could that mean it's a faulty throttle sensor?

Yes, the response delay definitely points towards a throttle issue. Given the symptoms and the mileage, it might be best to have it checked by a workshop, could be the sensor but also something with the air intake. I ended up paying 265€.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I guess a workshop visit is needed. I'll have them investigate the throttle valve, sensor, and related components.

I had similar symptoms on my 107. Did you check the throttle body for obstructions or carbon buildup? Have you noticed any unusual delays in throttle response?
