Peugeot 107 Reset Quantity Drift Compensation

I'm tearing my hair out. My 2007 Peugeot 107 diesel (only 15973 km!) is throwing codes related to 'reset quantity drift compensation'. Engine's running rough, check engine light's on, and the error memory confirms it. I suspect a dodgy injector valve. Anyone seen this before?

Sounds familiar. Had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane, although it manifested a bit differently. What car sensors have you checked? Have you looked at the airflow sensors or anything else beyond the injectors themselves? It could be a broader system issue throwing that drift compensation error.

Good shout! So, on your Megane, was it actually the injectors at fault in the end, or something else causing the drift compensation to go haywire? What did you do to fix it?

In my case, it ended up being the injectors themselves. The drift compensation was just the system trying to adjust for the faulty injectors. Get it checked out in a workshop; the onboard diagnostics should give you a clear direction.

Turns out it was a defective injector, just like I feared. Reset quantity drift compensation was indeed a symptom. Cost me 515€, but runs like a dream now. Thanks for confirming my fears!
