Peugeot 107 smartphone connection issue

I'm pulling my hair out! My 2006 Peugeot 107 with a gasoline engine is giving me grief. The car is throwing some weird function restrictions. My smartphone refuses to connect to the car's system, and I keep getting an error stored in the error memory when I scan it. I've tried restarting my phone, checking the Bluetooth settings, even factory resetting the car's system! Any ideas what's going on? The car has 170587 km on it, if that matters.

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same issue with my 107 a while back. Drove me nuts! Was the incorrect pairing with your phone mentioned at all? The dealership reset something for me and it worked great after that.

Incorrect pairing, huh? That's interesting. I didn't see anything specific about that in the error codes. Do you remember exactly what the dealership did or what they called the problem? Just trying to get a little more info before I potentially take it in.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was something like that. Honestly, I don't remember the exact terms they used. I just know they fiddled with the Bluetooth settings and cleared the error codes. I'd say take it to a workshop and see if they can sort it out. Probably something simple, but it's a pain to diagnose yourself sometimes.

Thanks a bunch! I appreciate the help. I had the pairing reset at the workshop, cost me 45€ and it seems to have worked. Thanks again!
