Peugeot 107 starting issue

I'm pulling my hair out here. I've got a 2013 Peugeot 107, gasoline engine, with nearly 200k km on the clock. Recently, it just refuses to start. Diagnostic tool is showing "Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted." Anyone seen this before? I've checked the battery terminals; they seem fine. Could it be a fuse or something? Is there a common weak point in the wiring loom on these?

The battery terminals appear fine, leading to speculation about a possible fuse or wiring issue. A similar case involved a defective connector causing a short circuit, suggesting that professional inspection might be necessary to resolve the problem.

That sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my 107 a while back. Same symptoms – car just wouldn't start, and it was throwing some kind of electrical error. Did you check all the fuses related to the ignition system? Have you tested the ignition switch itself? I am asking, because I would like to help you, but it could be a number of things, unfortunately.

Thanks for the quick response! Yes, I checked the fuses in the engine compartment fuse box, but I didn't find any blown fuses. The ignition switch itself I did not test. How did you solve the problem back then? Was it easy to find?

To be honest, I ended up taking mine to a workshop. I suspected the issue was with the wiring, and I didn't want to mess around too much with the electrics myself. The error message was identical though. They found a defective connector that caused a short circuit. I think you should do the same and take it to a workshop, because it is an annoying thing to fix.

Appreciate the advice! Sounds like I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get it checked out by a professional. The error message I got was also identical. The invoice says: 'Cable or plug connection of the component defective'. The repair cost was 95€. At least I have an idea of what to expect now. Thanks again!
