Peugeot 107 Temperature Sensor AC Issue

I've got a 2009 Peugeot 107 with a gasoline engine that's throwing an error for the outside temperature sensor. The AC won't turn on because of it. Plus, the windshield washer nozzles freeze in the cold, and the mirror heating doesn't work. I'm guessing it's a bad cable or plug. Anyone seen this before?

I had something similar with my 107. The AC wouldn't kick in, and I suspected the temperature sensor. I remember having issues with frozen spray nozzles, too. I would check the wiring and connections first. Have you checked the fuses?

Thanks! Any idea where I should be looking for the wiring and connections? And where is the sensor actually located?

I can't say for sure where the sensor sits, but I remember fiddling around near the front bumper, behind the grille. It was definitely a pain to reach. From memory, it was the workshop that eventually fixed it, they replaced the faulty sensor. That fixed the AC problem, and spray nozzles weren't freezing anymore after that. Might be worth getting it checked out.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like I should probably take it to a shop. Hopefully, it's just the sensor and won't cost too much to fix.
