Peugeot 108 Airbag Warning Light

Okay, so I've got a 2021 Peugeot 108, gasoline engine, and the airbag warning lamp is constantly on! Mileage is at 187523 km. I'm thinking it might be a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm kinda freaking out about car safety, especially with talk about airbag recalls and all. Ugh, automotive safety is so stressful sometimes!

I had a similar airbag warning light issue with my 108. Was the warning light constantly on, or did it come and go? Also, did it happen after hitting a bump or going over rough terrain?

Good questions! Yes, it's constantly on – hasn't gone off even once. And no, I don't think it's related to bumps or rough roads; it just appeared out of nowhere one morning. Any thoughts? Trying to avoid a crazy expensive repair bill, if I'm honest!

Based on your description, it does sound like a similar issue to what I encountered. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do without proper diagnostic tools. I would suggest taking it to a trusted workshop for inspection. My final repair was about 95€. I hope it's not too costly for you.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! That's really helpful to know. I'll book it in for a check-up ASAP. Hopefully, it's a quick fix, and I appreciate you confirming my suspicions about the workshop being the best bet. Fingers crossed!
