Peugeot 108 Automatic Transmission Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Peugeot 108 with a gasoline engine and automatic transmission is experiencing significant issues, including implausible shifting, a constantly illuminated transmission indicator light, and frequent activation of emergency mode. The problem is suspected to be related to undervoltage. A similar issue was resolved by replacing the worn-out transmission oil, which restored normal function.

Yes, definitely some slipping! It's most noticeable when accelerating from a stop. Did you also have the emergency mode issue?

Yes, emergency mode too. Given all that, I would strongly recommend getting it checked out by a workshop as soon as possible.

Thanks for the insight! It seems like the transmission oil was completely worn out. Got it replaced for 240€ and everything is back to normal.

I have a Peugeot 108 as well, and I had similar issues with the automatic transmission. The car acted erratically. Was the transmission slipping at all?
