Peugeot 108 Battery Issues
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Peugeot 108 with 201,103 km is experiencing weak starts and flickering lights, suggesting battery issues. Initial testing shows low voltage, leading to suspicion of a faulty battery sensor. A similar past experience with another vehicle supports this theory, and it is recommended to have the battery sensor checked at a workshop to prevent further issues.

Thank you for your reply. I measured approximately 12.2V when the engine is running. Does this voltage align with what you experienced?

Yep, that's about what I was getting. It definitely points to a faulty battery sensor not regulating the charge properly. I'd recommend getting it checked at a workshop. It could save you from a dead battery down the line.

I appreciate the advice. I will schedule an appointment with a workshop to have the battery sensor inspected. I got an estimate of 315€ for the repair. Thank you for confirming my suspicion.

Sounds familiar. I had similar issues on my old Vauxhall Corsa a few years back. Weak starts and flickering lights are classic signs. What voltage are you seeing when the engine is running?
