No starting difficulties. Can you tell me more about your experience, how the issue showed up in your Peugeot 108, and how you fixed it?

Sure, it was a while ago, but I remember the engine light coming on and off, and the car felt sluggish, especially uphill. I tried clearing the code a couple of times, but it kept coming back. I didn't want to mess with the timing belt myself, as a mistake can be disastrous. So, I booked it into a trusted workshop right away, told them the symptoms and the fault code, and they sorted it out pretty quickly. Best bet, I reckon.

Thanks. Based on your experience, I'll get a professional assessment at a good workshop. Estimates suggest about 340€ for sensor replacement and labor. Thanks for the help.

Hey, I had similar symptoms on my 108. That 'crankshaft to camshaft reference value' error can be a pain. Did you check the cam sensor or the timing belt? A stretched or worn timing belt can cause that, especially if you're getting misfires. Though I'd bet on the crankshaft sensor like you mentioned. Has the car been struggling to start?
