Peugeot 108 electrical fault

I'm experiencing an electrical fault with my 2020 Peugeot 108, gasoline engine. It has 192038 km on the odometer. I'm seeing an interruption in the Terminal 30 continuous plus circuit, resulting in the car starting poorly. Could a heavily discharged or defective battery be the culprit?

I had a similar issue with my Peugeot 108. Is the starter motor turning over slowly, like it's struggling? It could also be something drawing power when the car is off.

Thank you for the insight. Yes, the starter motor does sound weak. When you faced this, was it definitively the battery, or did you investigate other potential causes, such as the wiring harness or ignition switch?

While I initially suspected the battery, it turned out to be more complex. I would suggest you have a workshop check the battery first, but anticipate them needing to investigate further. For me, it needed a thorough check of the circuits.

Understood. I appreciate the advice; it has assisted me greatly. I took the car to the workshop, and it needed a new battery and some wiring repair. The eventual repair cost was 290€.
