Summary of the thread
A 2015 Peugeot 108 is experiencing issues with the check engine light on and increased fuel consumption, with an error code indicating a problem with the oxygen sensor heater. Yeah, I did have a look at the connector. Seemed okay, but maybe I missed something? What exactly should I be looking for? Is there a way to properly test the sensor itself?

While visual inspection is a good first step, sometimes the damage is internal or the corrosion is subtle. Testing the sensor requires specialized equipment. Given the potential complexity, and the fact that you are already experiencing these issues, I suggest you bring your Peugeot to a certified workshop.

Cheers. I appreciate the insight. Took it to the shop; turns out it WAS just the O2 sensor. 95€ and I'm back on the road, running smooth. Thanks again!

I understand your concern. Yes, a bad connection can indeed cause those symptoms. I once had a similar issue with my Opel Corsa. Same error code, same increased fuel consumption. Did you check the cable and plug connection of the component?
