Peugeot 108 Radio Reception Problem

Alright, car gurus, I'm stumped! My 2017 Peugeot 108, gasoline engine, has a radio reception problem from hell. Only 17377 km on the clock! I'm getting an error message on the infotainment screen, the audio system cuts out completely, and the error memory is logging faults. I'm suspecting the antenna is borked. Anyone else seen this? It's driving me nuts!

I also own a Peugeot 108. I had similar issues a while back. Does it happen all the time, or just in certain areas? Was there any event, like a car wash, that might have triggered this?

Good shout! It seems worse in built-up areas, tons of static noise. But it does happen everywhere, to some degree. And nope, no car washes or anything like that. Could a signal amplifier help, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Sounds incredibly similar to what I experienced. A signal amplifier might help a bit, but I'm not sure it's a long-term fix. The error message and complete audio loss points more to the antenna itself. I would go to a workshop.

Right, I hear you. Thanks a bunch for the advice! I took it to a workshop as you suggested, and turns out you were spot on - the antenna was indeed defective. Cost me 255€ to get it sorted. Cheers!
