Peugeot 108 Turn Signal Error

I have a defective turn signal lamp on my 2021 Peugeot 108 gasoline. It's storing an error, displaying an error message in the speedometer, and indicating a lighting fault. I checked the bulbs, and they seem fine. The car has 55113 km. Anyone else experienced this?

The symptoms strongly suggest an electrical fault, specifically a defective cable or plug connection with the turn signal lamp. Have you inspected the wiring harness and connectors for corrosion or damage?

Thanks for the quick response. I haven't inspected the wiring harness and connectors in detail. Could you elaborate on where I might find these components and what to look for beyond obvious corrosion?

The wiring harness and connectors are typically behind the lamp assembly. Access the rear of the lamp, often by removing an interior panel or from the wheel well. Look for physical damage to the wires, like cuts or abrasions, and examine the connectors for bent or broken pins. Given the error messages and the possibility of a faulty connection, it's highly recommended to visit a qualified workshop for diagnosis and repair if you aren't confident in electrical troubleshooting.

I appreciate the detailed explanation. Based on your advice, and given my limited experience, I'll schedule an appointment with a workshop. They quoted 95€ for the fix, citing a loose connector as the cause. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
