Peugeot 2008 clutch pedal switch issue

My 2014 Peugeot 2008, gasoline engine, is acting up. Error code, gear selection missing on the speedometer, cruise control not working, and sometimes it won't start. I think it's the clutch pedal switch or a bad connection. Anyone seen this?

Sounds familiar. I had similar weirdness with my Peugeot 2008. Mine is diesel, not sure about the petrol engine. Check your clutch pedal switch wiring and plug connection. Do you have error code details?

Mine was the plug itself, corroded pins. I disconnected, cleaned it, applied contact spray, and it was fine for a while. Eventually, it came back, so I replaced the whole switch. If cleaning doesn't work, consider the switch itself. Workshop is probably better if you don't have the tools.
