Yeah, I took a quick look, but didn't see anything obvious. Where exactly did you find the leak on your Astra? Was it easy to spot, or did you have to really dig around?

Mine was a pain to find! Turned out to be a tiny crack in one of the hoses near the engine block. You couldn't see it unless the engine was hot and the system was pressurized. Honestly, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. They can pressure test the system and find the leak much faster than you or I probably could.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on – a tiny leak in one of the hoses. They replaced it, topped off the coolant, and cleared the error code. Cost me 52€, but at least the problem's solved!

Ugh, that sounds familiar. I had almost the exact same problem with my old Opel Astra. Coolant disappearing, check engine light… drove me nuts! Have you checked for any obvious coolant leaks? Like around the radiator hoses or the coolant reservoir itself?
