Hey thanks for the quick reply! Ok, that sounds plausible with the glow plugs. Do you remember how much it cost you at the garage? And have there been any other problems since then or is your Peugeot running smoothly now? I just want to be sure before I drag the car into the garage. But good to know it's probably not the engine control unit. Thanks again!

Hey, sure, no problem, you're welcome! So, I had to put down €560 to change the broken and worn glow plugs. It's not a lot of money, but since then my Peugeot has been running like a dream. You don't know how relieved I was when the whole thing with the engine control unit was resolved. A fault in the engine management system like that would have really ruined me. So, if you notice similar symptoms in your car, don't hesitate and take it to the garage. It's better to pay a little more and be on the safe side than end up with a broken engine. Hope this helps you!

Hey, €560 sounds expensive at first, but if everything works again afterwards, it's worth it. I was really starting to despair and was worried that it could be something serious with the engine control unit. Your experience really reassures me a little. I think I will actually treat my Peugeot to a visit to the workshop. I hope that everything will then run smoothly again. Thanks again for your help and advice. Really appreciate it!

Hey, I recently had a similar problem with my 2016 Peugeot 3008. My glow plugs were defective and worn out. As a result, the engine couldn't rev properly and the battery also seemed weak. I had to go to the garage and they simply replaced all the glow plugs. It was a serious problem, as the car won't run properly without working glow plugs. If you have these symptoms, you should definitely have it checked! Good luck with that, hopefully it's nothing worse!
