Peugeot 2008 Radar Sensor Issue

I'm having radar sensor issues on my 2020 Peugeot 2008 with a gasoline engine. The speedometer shows an error, and there's an error stored. Other systems are failing too, with a warning light. Only 21333 km on the clock, so I suspect the sensor. Could a dirty sensor cause these widespread failures?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my 2018 Volvo XC60. Your symptoms mirror what I experienced. Could something be obstructing the sensor, like mud?

The errors were intermittent, like clouds passing in front of the sun. Cleaning didn't entirely fix it for me. I had to visit a workshop to recalibrate. I'd suggest seeing a professional.

Thanks for the insight. I checked the sensor and it was heavily soiled. After cleaning, the system went back to normal. The workshop confirmed the sensor was the problem. Repair cost was 45€.
