Battery test is next on the list. The Volvo – did it end up being a simple fix, or did you chase gremlins for weeks?

In response to your inquiry, the resolution for my Volvo proved to be multifaceted. After a thorough diagnostic evaluation, it was determined that the primary cause was a defective electronic control unit (ECU) that was not properly shutting down when the vehicle was turned off, thereby resulting in a continuous drain on the battery. Given the complexity of modern automotive electrical systems, I would suggest a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation by a qualified technician to accurately pinpoint the source of the interruption in the Terminal 30 circuit. This should prevent further unnecessary expenditure of time and resources.

Workshop found a heavily discharged, defective battery. New one fitted, all good. Repair cost me 290€. Thanks for pointing me to the pros!

I am sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing. It is my understanding that you are encountering problems with the Terminal 30 continuous plus circuit in your Peugeot 2008, resulting in difficulty starting the vehicle. Might I inquire whether you have observed any other electrical anomalies, such as flickering lights or unusual behavior from other onboard systems? Interestingly, I encountered a similar predicament with my previous vehicle, a Volvo, wherein a parasitic drain on the battery would cause intermittent starting issues. Have you had the battery tested recently?
