Peugeot 206 Air Suspension Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Peugeot 206 diesel with 251,717 km is experiencing air suspension issues, including failure to lift, leaning to one side, and a bumpy ride, accompanied by an error on the speedometer. Diagnostics suggest the problem may be with the suspension airbag valve. A similar case was resolved by identifying the valve as the culprit through a smoke test, and it is recommended to consult a workshop specializing in air suspension for accurate diagnosis and repair.

Thanks. It always leans to the same side. Can you tell me more? Did you also think it was the air suspension valve, and how did you check?

Yeah, it turned out to be the valve. I first thought it was a leak in the airline, but a smoke test pointed to the valve. Honestly, take it to a good workshop that knows air suspension. It'll save you time and money. I paid around 590€ for parts and labor. It's a tricky job.

Thanks for sharing your experience and the cost. That's really helpful. I'll book it in with a workshop to check the air suspension.

I had something similar with my 206. Sounds like a suspension issue. Does the leaning always happen on the same side? I drove around with that fault for weeks.
