Peugeot 206 Blower Motor Failure

I'm having a perplexing issue with the fresh air blower in my 2012 Peugeot 206 with a gasoline engine, now at 291927 km. The blower motor isn't working, and a diagnostic scan shows an error code for the blower motor circuit. I suspect the motor itself. Has anyone had this issue and what did you do?

Hey, I have a 206 too and had something similar happen last year. The climate control just stopped blowing air. Did you check the fan speed controller? I'm just wondering if it might be that instead of the motor itself.

Regarding the fan speed controller, can you give me more detail on how to access it and test it within the Peugeot 206's climate control system? Precise details would be greatly appreciated for diagnostics.

Honestly, I'm not the most technical guy. I just had the same symptoms, and my mechanic said it could be the fan speed controller or the motor. In the end, I just took it to the workshop and they sorted it out. Might be worth doing the same.

Following your suggestion, I took the car to a mechanic. After diagnostics, the blower motor was indeed the problem. Replacing it cost 365€ Thank you for your help.
