Peugeot 206 central locking failure

Hi, I'm having trouble with my 2012 Peugeot 206 (gasoline engine). The central locking has stopped working. Neither door can be locked or unlocked using the remote or the key. I scanned it, and there's an error stored. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection, but I'm not sure where to start.

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 206 a while back. Was it completely dead, or was it intermittent at all? I had the exact same symptoms; remote and key wouldn't do anything, but I could hear a faint click from the fuse box when I tried. Have you checked the fuses?

Thanks for the quick reply. It's completely dead, no response at all. I haven't checked the fuses yet, but I will. Which fuse specifically should I be looking at? Any idea where the fuse box diagram is located in the car?

Yeah, mine was totally dead at first too, then intermittent, then totally dead again. I can't recall the exact fuse number, but the diagram should be in the owner's manual, or sometimes it's printed on the fuse box cover itself. Honestly, given that the error memory has something stored, you might be better off just taking it to a workshop. It cost me 95€ to get it fixed.

Okay, thanks for the info. I'll check the fuses first, but it sounds like a trip to the workshop is inevitable. Good to know what to expect cost-wise. I appreciate the help!
