Peugeot 206 cruise control malfunction

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2013 Peugeot 206, gasoline engine. The cruise control just stopped working out of nowhere! The car only has 24012 km on it. The cruise control does not work, and I'm getting an error stored in the memory. I've checked the fuses, and they seem fine. Any ideas where to start poking around? Could it be something with the speed sensor or maybe the clock spring in the steering wheel?

I had a similar issue with my 206. Did you check the cable and plug connections of the component? Is the dashboard light on?

Hmm, interesting. Which component are you referring to specifically? And which dashboard light should I be looking for?

I meant the cruise control component. In my case, it was a defective cable or plug connection. It's best to have it checked at a workshop. The repair cost me 95€.
