Peugeot 206 electrical issues
Summary of the thread
A 2002 Peugeot 206 is experiencing random electrical issues, including warning lights and failures in the radio and satnav. The problem may be due to a faulty cable connection to the BUS system, as suggested by another user who had similar issues with a different car. The solution involved fixing a dodgy cable connection to one of the control units, which resolved the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply! I don't have the exact codes, unfortunately. The mechanic just mentioned 'electrical faults' generally. Was the issue on your Astra similar enough that it could be the same cause?

While I cannot guarantee an identical cause, the symptoms you describe align closely with the defective cable connection to the BUS system which was the origin of the issues on my Opel. I would advise a visit to the workshop.

Okay, I appreciate the advice. I took it back to the shop and they found a dodgy cable connection to one of the control units, like you said. They charged me 155€ to fix it. Seems to be working fine now. Thanks again!

I had similar symptoms with my 2014 Opel Astra. Errors in driving mode, failure of audio system, temporary shutdown of control units, and stored errors. Could you provide the exact error codes?
